The process
How It Works
No mystery and no runaround. Here is exactly what happens from the moment you order to the moment your permit is in your hands.
- 1
You tell us about your business
Start online or call. We ask for what we actually need: who you are, what you operate, where in Texas you plan to serve, your menu or scope of service, and how to reach you. Most people finish the form in a few minutes.
You do not need to create an account first, and you do not need every document in hand at this point. If something is missing we will ask for it, and you can upload it later in your portal.
- 2
You pay the service fee
Checkout is handled by Stripe. Our fee is $250 per permit-assistance order, stated plainly, with a coupon field if you have a code. There are no preselected add-ons and no fees that appear at the last step.
Government, inspection, licensing, filing, and late fees are separate. Those go to the authority, not to us, and we tell you what to expect for your situation.
- 3
We begin processing the same business day
Once your application is complete, our in-house team begins processing it the same business day. A specialist reviews your information against the requirements that apply to your operation and jurisdiction, flags anything that would cause a rejection, and prepares the filing.
This review is where our twenty years actually pays off. Most rejections are avoidable, and catching them before filing saves weeks.
- 4
We submit and monitor
We file with the correct authority and watch for responses. If a correction comes back, we handle it and resubmit — your order moves to Error — Resubmitted so you can see exactly what happened, and there is no extra service charge from us.
If an inspection is required, we tell you what the inspector will be looking for so you are ready.
- 5
You get your permit
When the permit is issued, we upload the documents to your portal and email you. You can download them any time, and we recommend keeping a copy with your records and posting the permit as the authority requires.
Tracking
The five statuses you will see
Every order moves through a clear set of statuses, and every change is timestamped and recorded in your portal with a full history.
Processing
Your order is with our team. A specialist reviews everything you sent for the errors that cause rejections, requests anything missing, and prepares the application. Completed applications enter this stage the same business day.
Submitted
Your application has been filed with the applicable authority. From here the timeline is largely in the government’s hands, and we monitor for responses.
Error — Resubmitted
The authority returned a correction. We fix it and resubmit. Your order can enter this stage more than once without losing any of its history, and there is no additional service charge from us.
Inspection
An inspection is scheduled or underway. For many permit types this is the longest single step, and scheduling is controlled by the inspecting authority.
Successful — Permit Received
Your permit has been issued. The documents are uploaded to your portal for download, and we email you to let you know.
Two different clocks
We begin processing your completed application the same business day. That part is ours and we control it.
Permit approval and government processing times are controlled by the applicable licensing authority. Review and issuance commonly take up to roughly 30 days, and sometimes longer where inspections or plan review are involved. We will never promise you a permit in a day, and we cannot guarantee that an agency will act within any particular window.
What we need from you
Our guarantee depends on cooperation, and so does your timeline. To keep things moving:
- Give us complete and accurate information the first time
- Send requested documents promptly — we will tell you exactly what is needed
- Pay government fees when they come due
- Follow the instructions we send for your permit type
- Be available and prepared for inspections
- Respond to government requests when they reach you directly
Full details are on our guarantee page.
