What we guarantee
If we accept your order and the permit you engaged us to help obtain is not issued, we will refund the $250 Food Permit Experts service fee for that order — provided you met the eligibility and cooperation requirements below.
Eligibility and cooperation requirements
To qualify for a refund under this guarantee, you must:
- Be legally eligible for the permit or authorization you are seeking. We cannot make an ineligible applicant eligible, and eligibility is determined by the applicable authority.
- Provide complete and accurate information. Information that is incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading — whether intentionally or not — voids this guarantee.
- Submit documents on time. When we request a document, it must be provided within the timeframe we specify or by any deadline the authority sets, whichever is earlier.
- Pay applicable government fees. Government, inspection, licensing, filing, and late fees must be paid when due. An application that stalls for nonpayment is not covered.
- Follow the instructions we provide for your permit type and jurisdiction.
- Cooperate with inspections and government requests, including making your premises or unit available, being reachable, and responding to the authority when it contacts you directly.
What is not refunded
- Government, inspection, licensing, filing, and late fees. These are paid directly to the applicable authority, not to us. Any refund of those amounts is governed by that authority’s rules, not by this guarantee.
- Orders where the requirements above were not met.
- Orders withdrawn or abandoned by the customer after work has begun, except at our discretion.
- Losses beyond the service fee. This guarantee is limited to a refund of the $250 service fee for the affected order. It does not cover lost revenue, lost opportunities, event cancellations, lease or vehicle costs, or other consequential losses.
Situations outside our control
We cannot approve a permit and we do not control government timelines. This guarantee does not cover circumstances outside our control, including changes in law or agency policy, agency backlogs or closures, an authority’s discretionary denial of an otherwise complete application, a failed inspection caused by the condition of the premises or unit, or a disqualifying fact about the applicant that was not disclosed to us.
How to request a refund
Contact us at Support@FoodPermitExperts.com or call 713-596-5363 during Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Central Time. Reference your order number and tell us what happened. We will review the order file, including the status history and our correspondence with you and the authority.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through Stripe. Banks typically post the credit within 5 to 10 business days. Every refund is recorded against the order and its payment record.
Timing, honestly stated
We begin processing your completed application the same business day. Permit approval and government processing times are controlled by the applicable licensing authority. A permit that takes longer than you hoped is not, by itself, a failure under this guarantee — the guarantee is about whether the permit is ultimately issued.
Changes to this guarantee
We may update these terms. The version in effect when you placed your order governs that order. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
These terms are part of our Terms of Service. If there is a conflict between a written agreement signed by an authorized representative of Food Permit Experts and this page, the signed agreement controls.
